Been Awhile..New VIDEOS

Hi everyone...I know I disappeared again. Real life got real complicated real fast....that's a whole lot of REALITY...lol.

One thing I am doing is merging my Dorothy'sCreations personna with my shop and I will now be Print Cut N Create with Dorothy'sCreations. I will be transitioning this blog over to my new personna blog: http://printcutncreate.blogspot.com.

Since I am just about all gone over to hybrid scrapping, cardmaking and crafting, it just seems like the best thing to do. I won't abandon this blog yet as I want those who are interested to find their way over to the new blog to follow or bookmark. You may find double posts here and on the new blog for awhile.

I've been designing again though and I have new products in my shops. Now these are my "babies" as I've put a lot of work into them. These PNG Templates I am doing are so so so easy to use in your graphics program. Just add your digi graphics to them, merge and print. I have even made a couple of videos to show you how to use one of the templates and how to make the card!

Here are the 2 videos I made..Part 1 shows you how to use the Clutch Bag PNG template and Part 2 shows you how to assemble the clutch bag card. But the instructional video for the PNG template uses the same technique for all my PNG templates. Hope you enjoy!

Craft Artist & Freebie CA kit.

I know it's been a few weeks since I posted. I'm here though with what I've been up to. The last few weeks I've been getting Designers settled into Print Cut N Create and making sure the site is running. I've been designing a little bit but nothing new in shop until this week when I will have a new Easter kit ready for you...he he he.

Mainly though I've been looking at this program called Serif Craft Artist. I ended up purchasing this program to give it a try. Digital Scrapbooking is gaining popularity here in the UK and this software is getting mentioned a lot. I love that it also has lots of crafting and card templates in it as well! It is affiliated with Daisy Trail.com that has lots of cute scrap kit available for free and for sale as well as a forum and gallery to show off your creations.

Well my software CDs arrived yesterday in the post and I wanted to get started. I'm not one that reads directions first thing...lol. I like to get my "hands dirty" so to speak by just diving in. I took one of my own mini scrap kits and decided to create a layout in CA. I did watch a couple of tutorial videos on some things I couldn't figure out how to make but all in all it's a pretty good program. I know I know...I use Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro and dabble in Illustrator. What does CA do over those? Will I ever use PS and PSP again? Wellllllllllllll......since I'm a designer I will always use Photoshop to create my graphics. I don't think CA could ever replace them but when it comes to creating LOs, I think CA may be the one I turn to more. The drag and drop features are just too good. I can create a layout in minutes instead of an hour. There is a learning curve and a few program glitches but CA is defintiely worth the £39.99 paid for it. It's going to make album and brag book creating a BREEZE. OK that's my mini review of Craft Artist, now let me show you what I made!

Here is the LO I created in CA. It's of my 2 dogs Buster my 4 yr old half Golden Retriever and half Australian Shepherd and Paris my 6 month old Golden Labrador Retriever. Ain't they cute?

As a little celebration of using CA, I created this free CA mini kit of my Slurple freebie kit. Also as an extra I saved this layout in with the kit so you can drag and drop your own photos into it. (I learned a lot about Framing in CA doing this. LOL)

Happy St Patrick's Day!

Hope everyone is in a green mood today because it's St Patrick's Day.

I'm in a blah mood today. You ever have one of those days where you just don't feel like doing anything (even though my to-do list is a mile long.) Well that's me. My hubby is also home this afternoon sitting in front of the TV watching horse racing. Those in the UK kight know that is Cheltenham week and my hubby takes alot of time off this week every year so he can watch the races and have a few bets. It's the only time he does this so it doesn't bother me. I even pick a few horses...lol.

Spring has Sprung Digital Stamp Set

Hi everyone! It was a cold but sunny weekend here in my neck of the woods plus hubby has the flu so I've been taking care of him. This is a really one that hits the chest. He wheezes so bad it's like he can hardly breathe. Poor guy! I am soooo glad I get a flu jab every year. Hope this is one strain that it will cover...lol.

I have a new digital stamp set in shop now...when I create my stamps I either draw it in Illustrator or I sketch it on paper and scan it. This is one I drew and scanned. I also entered the digi stamp in a contest! I doubt I'll win but I thought I would give it a try. You can see all the entries here at Crafters Digital Art Center

It's also up for sale in my shop at Print Cut N Create. You get 2 stamps, one of the bunny in the grass and one is the word art. here it is:

I made a really cute easel card with it...hope you like it! The papers I used I printed out using 3 papers from my Open Your Heart digital scrapbooking kit. I added some ribbons, stick on gems and stacked Prima flowers. I coloured in the digi stamp using my watercolour pencils and a water brush to blend. Here's the front laying flat:

I was going through my files..ya know...as you do. And I came across some shapes I created. There was loads of them and I thought they would make terrific digital cutting files for those with Cricuts and Craft Robos. So I converted them for you and here is the first set of 10 flower shapes.

File formats included are: SVG for Cricuts and any machine using software that accepts SVGs, GSD for those who use Craft Robos and Silhouette machines, DFX for those who like working with raw files and PNGs with transparent backgrounds so you can use them in any graphics program.

Sorry I've been MIA for a few days...I've been feeling under the weather since Friday and this morning I just could not get out of bed. I was so run down, sick to my stomach I just had to get some rest...so I had a sleep in and ended up sleeping until noon!!! Now I have to say I feel sooooo mcuh better so I am on the mend thank goodness. Now I can finish this blog post I started the other day...lol.

Need to make a card quick and easy? Then my card making sheets are just what you need! Plus at 50 to 60 pence each you can't go wrong!

Craft Show & Cards

This weekend was pretty much a waste when it came to designing and keeping up with computer goings on. Saturday and Sunday were such a blur with not much computer time. But on Friday my hubby took me to the Stitch and Creative Crafts Show in Braintree, Essex. He got me the ticket for Valentine's Day. Once at the show he then proceeded to give me money to spend...woo hoo! Wasn't that nice of him? Guess that means I'll keep him another week...lol.

It was really crowded and the aisles were pretty narrow. Since I'm in a wheelchair it was pretty hard to get around and there are a few more things I wanted but didn't get but I figured I would just order them online...lol. I will say though, if you get a chance to go to one of these shows if you're in the UK, then GO! It's crowded but you can get some really great prices at these shows. Here's my stash on my craft counter (don't count the back wall stuff, just the stuff on the green craft mat):

Here's what I snagged

3 Ranger Distress ink pads in Crushed Olive, Tumbled Glass and Tattered Rose (£3.50 each!)
Ink Blending Tool with Refill pads (these were special buy the tool and get the refill pad pack for half price.)
5 sheets of foam pads in varying sizes (£1.00 a sheet)
2 Stickles in Silver glitter and Diamond glitter.
5 sets of mini clear stamps and 1 wood min alpha stamp set (these were in a box £1.00 each)
6 packs of large stick on gems (buy 5 get one free so £5.00)
6 packs of mini stick on gems, pearls plus a set of 2 baby boy rocking horsetoppers. (all embellies at this stand were buy 5 get one free and they were again £1.00 each.)
Last but not least, I got 4 Spellbinder Nestabilities at just £13.00 each. I don't have any of them so this was a nice way to start a collection. I got the regular oval set, sm scalloped squares, sm scalloped circle and the basic flower set.

Thank you my Hunny for my goodies! I specifically get the blue baby boy horse toppers for a card I made for a family member that just had a baby last week. Here's a quick peek at the card...my blog posts go to my Facebook and this couple is one of friends so I hope they skim over this part and wait to see their card in person...lol.

I made the card starting with Coredinations cardstock. IT's a whitewashed white finish on a light blue core then I added papers from my Pink N Black Printable cardmaking kit but I opened them up in Photoshop first and colourised them blue. I took more of the cardstick and cut the square using my new scalloped square Nestabilites and added 2 toppers. The rectangle one I ran twice through my Cuttlebug to get a rectangle by lining the card up in the die. In the square I added the felt rocking horse topper and the sentiment is the same cardstock that I sanded down to get the blue core to show through then stamped the sentiment. I also sanded the scallop edges. Lastly I added some butterflies and the ribbon.

This next card I made using the other boy felt topper. I made it for my stash. This is a white 8 cm square card and I added layers of paper from a stack called Spring Sophisticates by Paper Wardrobe that I got from The Range. Again using the same Nestabilities as before. I added heart shaped gems, a bow, the topper and some peel off silver corners.

Blog Change

I decided to change my blog a little bit. It was just too busy with too much junk on it that took up space. I wanted to make it cleaner to look at and easier on the eye. I also wanted to get away from so much digital scrapbooking as my designs are now more varied for crafters and card makers as well.

I still want to make some changes on it but hope you all like this look a little better...I know I sure do!

Oh yeah...and I love the new font choices on the Blogger templates. Aren't they just too cool

Computer CRASH

Well I just start posting to my blog, my shop has reopened so guess what? My 4 yr old computer decided to die on me. It started by rebooting itself whenever you went on a web site, then after a couple of days of that it just decided to rebooted constantly with error messages. Then it just didn't boot up at all.

So we took it to our computer guy, he had it for 3 days and told us the bad news....he didn't have a clue what was wrong. He assumed it was the motherboard since that was going to be about £200 to fix, we decided to just bite the bullet and get a new computer. So off to the shop to get a new hard drive only to bring it home, set it up, install a few programs then it dies the next day. We just put in a USB stick to tranfer some data and then all USB ports fried. The mouse and keyboard were both USB ports so couldn't use them. So back we went to the shop to get a new one. This new computer has a zippy fast processor as we thought we might as well get the best computer we could afford without getting a Mac...the one with the same specs as mine would cost over £2000!!! £800 was enough to spend on just the hard drive then a new monitor for another £180. So we upgraded even from the previous new one.

So far all is well, usb ports still working...lol. Now it's just getting my programs up an running. This will take a few days..then I really will be back! Wish me luck everyone! LOL

A Fun Day

Just thought I would stop in to my blogeroni and tell you about my day. My daughter's US Passport is about to expire so we had to go to the US Embassy in London to get it renewed. The Embassy is over near Knightsbridge so it was off to West London we went.

Trouble with the US Embassy building is it's NOT wheelchair accessible. Last time I had to go there they had to take me in the back up the lorry ramp and into the service entrance...lol. This time my daughter, being 18 yrs old now, could go in herself so my hubby and I waited outside for her to get this done faster. We had to wait about 25 minutes outside..it was pretty cold but not too bad.

Since we were already in the area and we already had to pay the stinky London Congestion Charge, we decided to go over to Knightsbridge to walk around and to visit Harrod's department store. My Hubby John has lived in London his whole life and he had never been there himself and of course my daughter and I never need an excuse to go shopping plus we have never been there either. What a nice day we had! Of course we were just LOOKING and not buying but I did get a pretty and blingy necklace...thank you my hunny! We did have a terrific lunch in Harrods as well. I tried to get my daughter to take a photo of me outside with her iPhone but it didn't happen UGH. After Harrods we walk around the area looking in all the designer shop windows like Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci and Prada. I had a drool outside Jimmy Choo ( I lurve shoes!...lol) My daughter drooled over the nice cars, espcially the Ferraris and Porches. Hubby liked the Bentleys.

We left right before rush hour so got stuck in a bunch of London traffic but we made it home. Our dogs were happy to see us as they don't really like being left alone (the spoiled brats..lol.) I'll get a photo of my necklace tomorrow..also one of the damage our new Labrador puppy did to the bathroom door which we just had put in brand new UGH again. Good thing she's cute that's all I gotta say.

So an eventful day.....tomorrow I had a new products to announce so I hope you keep an eye here! Sleep well everyone!

I'm Back

I know...I've been gone for a few months. Since my birthday in October, life here at my house has been in a bit of chaos.

Me and hubby were having some troubles, my daughter dropped out of school, I planned a big 18th party for my daughter in December and we got a new puppy. In the middle of all that I got a bad cold and here in the UK most of December was under a whole bunch of snow which is something we're not used to here....rain yes but not SNOW! My house was also still in the state of getting finished (still not) but it's getting there one little job at at time. I also was learning how to code and design my online shop Print Cut N Create. I did it all myself...it took me two months to figure out how to code Zen Cart, vBulletinm PhotoPost and Wordpress all at the same time..lol.

So you can see,although I've not been online much, I've been very busy to say the least. I do apologise to you, all my blog readers out there. I also apologise to my Creative Team, Julie, Bren and Debbie. They all got put in a spot of limbo and I know they are busy ladies who don't have time to mess around. I hope you understand.

Now for the GOOD news. Hubby and I are fine now. My daughter left school but she is planning on going to a big makeup school in London. The party was great and my craft room is finaly done. The puppy is potty trained and so cute (but chewing on everything.) And now Print Cut N Create is DONE! It's open for business. I have most of my designs uploaded to the shop. Keep an eye out on Wednesday here on the ole blogeroni for a few announcments regarding PCNC. (wink)

We are getting near the end of my Birthday Celebration Freebies. Today it is an absolutely gorgeous day here in the South of England. Hubby is working today so we can't go anywhere but I had a sit in the garden for a while with my dog Buster to enjoy the sunshine. The rest of today will be spent doing more relaxing and I might play Bingo tonight.

It's Day 08 Freebie Time!

Happy Saturday all! It's cloudy again here...surprise NOT....lol. So far today I've straightened up my office and computer area. Then I did some laundry...my daughter is doing the dishes. Hubby is running errands and later tonight we are going to a family party down in Kent. Hubby John's cousin is turning 40 so the fmaily is throwing him a party. We haven't seen the family in awhile so it will be nice to get together. After I finish posting you all your freebie today I am off to make a 40th birthday card if I can get Jhn to find my adhesivies, scissors and stuff. It's all buried in my craft room but my craft room is full of furniture, boxes, old cabinets and other junk and there is hardly room to even seen the back wall....lol.

Ah well since I cannot make a card, maybe you can with this printable card making sheet I created for you today! LOL Too bad I can't use it as it's really more appropriate for a girl...ah well. You can use is as a 3D Pyramid card or use the first two parts as separate toppers. Also I've included both the A4 size and also the US Letter size. Sorry I couldn't make an example of the card...grrrrrrr. Hope some of you can use it! Enjoy.

It's Freebie ~ Day 07 Time!

Oh yes! The sun is out, it's a lovely day here in my part of the UK. About darn time! LOL I spent a bit of time tidying my lounge because it's the sunniest room in the house just to soak in some rays. Then I sat by my open patio door and had a coffee. I just sat and then played with my dog Buster for a bit. It was just too nice to sit in my office/computer room which is the darkest room in the house with no window. But here I am now for a little while. Yesterday my internet went in and out a bunch of times. The cable tv did as well. That means I didn't get much done yesterday...I have a bunch of emails to write!!

Good Morning All. Not much went on last night or this morning so far. I ended up feeling much better yesterday. Today I'm fine except for some Arthritis pain in my left wrist and shoulder. They are very achy today. I've had arthritis since my early 20s that started in my left pinky finger and toes on my right foot. Now in my 40s it everywhere...lol. I've started using Arnica Gel on my joints and believe it or not it does help a bit. The one I'm using is from SBC which is HERE. Their Collagen Gell is fab as well and I've been using it for over 5 years on my face and body. Give it a try...it's light and not greasy at all. The fragrance is very light and you can wear other creams and perfume over top of it.

Birthdays can be a bit dull when you're my age, which is 46. My hubbsy and daughter never can think of things to get me because A. there's not much I want and B. When I do want something I usually just buy it no matter when it is. So when my special day comes around I usually get a few bits to open on the day and then John gives me money to get anything else I want that they cannot think of. So the last few days has been spent shopping online. My first item arrive in the post today...bareMinerals Urban Vibe makeup set. It has 2 eye colours, a cheek colour, lip gloss and an eye pencil. Here I am with Day 02 of my birthday celebration freebies. It's another relaxing day for me...Sunday usually is. But it's my birthday WEEKEND...lol. Anyone who knows me knows that I am a really huge sports fan. When I was young back in the USA, my high school had a State Championship Soccer team. My friends andI used to travel on buses to go to the big State matches. Now here I am years later in the UK and I find myself a really big fan of British Football. My hubby has been an Arsenal supporter since he was ayoung boy now so am I. Today is a big match for them so later today we will be camped out in front of the flat screen. That's my day sorted....lol.

Hubby is actually torn between watching football and watching the Ryder Cup Golf. It was rained out this morning in Wales and they plan to start up again at 1:30 local time. I happen to like a bit of golf and do keep up with it. Plus we had spent a long weekend back in the Spring at Celtic Manor Resort. It truly is beautiful there and the hotel was exceptional. We drove up to the gate of the Twenty Ten course but of course the gates were locked at the time.

I got a bit down about it then I got sick with a chest infection so this last week or so has had a lot of down time for me. So guess what I did while laying in bed? I got out my pencils and paper and started drawing. So what this means is I will be having some new digital stamps coming soon. New Cardmaking Printables In Shop

Happy September Everyone!

It's the 1st of Setember and I am ahving a pretty good day so far...how about you? I want to remind you the Designer contest I'm in over at theStudio starts today. You can see and download our entries over in the Gallery (but you have to sign up there first.) We received our first assignment today and I am about to get started on my entry. I hope you will check them out!

I have a couple of new Cardmaking Printables in my shop at Print Cut 'N Create. They are on sale at the moment at just 65 pence each (that's just $ .99 US) ....for a limited time. They both create a Pyramid Card and as soon as I get my craft room back (because its filled with furniture that cannot be moved out until our house is done) I can make some cards so you can see how they go together.

Here are some brief instructions:

What You Need:

cardstock at least A6 in size or an A6 or larger card blank
adhesive of choice like a tape runner ordouble sided tape on a roll
3d adhesive sich as foam pads, pop dots or silicon glue
scissors
paper trimmer
embellishments of choice such as ribbon, glitter, peel offs, gems, etc.

Print out the JPG sheets and cut out the pieces using a paper trimmer and/or scissors.

Since I have numbered your layers on the sheet, take image 1 and paste this to your card front.

Add your 3d foam pads or silicon glue to all the other images. remove the backings (if necessary and stack image 2 on top of your image 1 that is on the card. Make sure to line up your image the best you can.

Continue this process with as many layers of the image that you like.

Add a sentiment topper...either one from the sheet that matches, use the blank one and add your own sentiment rub on or stamp.

Finish card with any other embellishments like bows, ribbon, gems, peel offs, etc.

These sheets make a quick an easy card that work for any occasion!

New Blog & New Stuff Coming

Hi everyone..finally it's time for change.Autumn is here is the UK, especially the weather, and for me that means change. I actually love Autumn the most, guess that's because my birthday is in October, but it's also because it's a time of changes. It's been a traumatic Summer here at my house which made life a bit hectic. But with September comes a new start. While on my holiday in France house house was completely renovated. We arrived home to a building site and it's still not over yet with just 2 rooms only ALMOST done, we are living with plaster dust and unpainted walls...but I have to admit it still looks a hundred times better than it did before the work was done...lol.

As you can see I have redesigned my blog. This is because I am getting ready for some new beginnings of my own. My shop, Print Cut 'N Create, is growing with some new designers joining the PCNC design team. I have also joined the Designer Contest over at theStudio which starts TOMORROW, 1st September. Downloading our kits is how you vote and I sure hope you will support me! Of course I will be posting on the ole blogeroni here but also Yahoo groups and DigiShopTalk!

There is some really cool prizes like a Wacom Bamboo Tablet and some awesome Atomic Cupcake Actions...woo hoo. Don't know if I'll win as there are just so mnay incredible Designers out there now but I know I will get my creative juices flowing...it's been a dry river this Summer that's for sure...lol.

Home life though has been a bit shaken up again last week with my daughter's exam results coming though at college. NOT GOOD is an understatement so she's had to change her courses and also has to restart from the beginning putting her back a whole year. Other than that I am really looking forward to September and all that's holds for me. A big giant thanks to all of you who follow my blog or who care at least a little about me and my designs. I appreciate you more than I can say. Keep you eyes peeled here for freebies and new designs and a little bit of ME...lol.

Hello Again & New Products

Yes I'm finally back. Life has gotten in the way the last few months. I had a bit of a depression, then we went on hilday for a few week in Europe. Now my house is a construction site due to lots of work we are having done. While on holiday the whole house was plastered. Now we are waiting for new doors and frames, skirting boards and then John (hubby), Aurora (daughter and I hae lots of painting to do. By the time we are done thought the house will look amazing...lol. So right now I cannot make any cards or crafts as my craft room is a storage area full of wood, tiles, trash, and boxes.

I've finally got the creative bug. Isn't that the way though....things like that happen when you are LEAST able to do anything about it...lol. I had my hubby set up my computer room as much as possible (after we had to have the computer repaired as it was so filled with plaster dust and dog hair that it stopped running.) So here I am with a few new products in my shop. I hope to have a freebie for you all next week though. My computer room is being finished up Sunday and Monday so I won't be online. After that though I can set up and really get to work!

I Got An Award!

I haven't been around much this week. Not only have I been a bit down in the dumps but we bought this brand new Full HD huge televison and I've been watching all these High Definitlion channels and movies...lol....being very very lazy!

I perked right up though becasue my best mate Julie aka Julie's Creations gave me an award on her blog....thank you hun!

TWEET Cards

It's Bank Holiday Monday here in the UK and the weather has been a bit weird. This morning it was sunny, then windy and rainy...we got some hailstones. Now the sun is back out again. LOL It was a good excuse to get into my craft room and make a few cards. I printed off my Tweet digital stamps that I offered last week and made a couple of cards. I will post other cards I made with other printables tomorrow. I'm also working on a fold out book but I wanted to seal it so I waited to get some Mod Podge which I bought this weekend along with a bunch of other stuff from The Range's craft department. I'll finish that up this week. Here are my Tweet cards:

This first card started with an A5 green card base. I printed out two papers from my A Birdie Told Me digital scrap kit on 160 gsm card. One paper is purple with the tweet birdies on it and the other is a bright green stripe. I coloured my bird in with my Copics. I also added the TWEET word art to a tab tag from the same digital scrap kit. I did this in Photoshop. I assembled it with layers of yellow and green cardstock which I ran through my Cuttlebug using the diamond pattern embossing folder. Last but not least were some yellow gemstones and rounded corners.

This next card started with an A5 yellow card base. I opened the TWEET word art digital stamp in Photoshop and added more text to it so it would fit into a 2" circle. The pink striped paper and the line of birds are both from my A Birdie Told Me digital scrap kit. I printed those out on white card. I cut out the circle stamp and birds and layered them on yellow card then I inked the edges. I used my Purple Cow cutter witha scalloped blade and trimmed the paper bottom edge off so there was two pieces and I glued them on the card leaving a space between them. The birdies and sentiment and on foam pads. I was going to add a bow and straight ribbon but I didn't have enough of this remnant so I just knotted the ends...it looks pretty nice so it was a good idea...lol.

FREE Card Template

Gosh it was a busy weekend for me. I don't think I was home for than a few hours at any one time (except for sleeping that is.) I did nothing around the house, no laundry, no cleaning (whoop!) but I'm paying for it today. I have huge piles of dirty clothes attacking me, dust bunnies are nipping at my heels...so what do I do instead? Design a card template! LOL

It's a layered PSD plus the individual PNG files for each layer in a separate folder. Just open them in your favourite graphics program, add your digital papers to each layer's shape. Then you can either create it as a digital card or print and cut out each piece to assemble on your own cardstock. Don't forget to add your own embellies!

If you make a card or something...I would love it if you would drop me a comment with a link to see what you made! You may even get a surprise...lol.

Here are two cards I made using my template:

This first one is a digital card I created in PS3. I just added my digital papers and clipped them to the shaped layersand I also added so extra flowers. Then I merged flatten and saved as a JPG. I used one of my own digital scrap kits for this one called "A Birdie Told Me."

This one I clipped digital paper to each PNG and then printed them out with my Epsom Ink Jet printer on white 160 gsm paper which is actually a thin cardstock. I cut out and trimmed each piece and assembled it on a beige card with glue and foam pads to raise up the flower part. I used an ink stamp to add my birthday sentiment but it's REALLLLY crooked...lol. Hopefully yours will be more centred. I also should have inked the edges like I did with the sentiment topper. I used the papers from my own digital scrap kit called "Tender Moments."

A Note About My Digital Stamps

I had a few people ask me about whether my digital stamps were CU. Right after this post I will go make a blog page with my TOUs on it but just so you all know, my Digital Stamps can be used for Personal Use and Scrapping and Crafting for Hire. You can sell crafts and scrapbook pages made with my stamps as long as they are in a finished project and are altered such as coloured in, cut out and pasted/glued on the project, etc. At this time I am not charging extra for a CU Lisence for this as some designers do. Inside the zip file of all my downloads is a folder with my TOU (Terms of Use) inside. One of the TOU text files is called Crafting Angels License and this gives you all the details for selling my designs on your finished cards, crafts and scrapbook pages.

You CANNOT incorporate my stamps into digital scrapbook kits for sale, print out sheets and sell them, die cut them out and sell the die cuts, alter them in digitally and resell them as PNGs or "tubes," etc.

I hope this clarifies a little what you can and cannot do with my digital stamps. If you do have any questions, please aks me. Leave me a comment or post something in the Chat Box over in the right hand column and I will defintely help the best I can!

Big Loser Gives a Freebie!

Well if you are looking for my new mini kit in the Little Dreamer Apprectice Search, you won't find it. I wasn't able to be included in the second round. Dummy me was wondering how we would be informed of the next round and if we made it or not. I kept checking the gallery and the site but couldn't find anything about what was going on. So I wondered....hmmmm.

So the other night I get this email from Michelle the owner asking me for some information so she could approve me for the special Apprectice forum that was hidden. ARRRRGGGGH! It wasn't her fault though..my BLOODY Email decided to hold the email ransom for over a WEEK before it delivered it to me. So I missed the new deadline hence I'm not going any further in the Program. I cannot even tell you how upset I was...I had me a good cry then a good rant at my dog...then one to my hubby (poor guy...lol.) But I am now just like..."OH WELL."

I relly blame myself though....I should have contacted the site and asked instead of sitting here wondering what's going on. This is why I am a BIG LOSER!

But I will give you all a freebie because...well I can and I need to make up to SOMEONE for being dopey. So enjoy this digital stamp freebie instead. More Cards I Made

Well I had a chance to sit and make some cards last night. I decided to print off some of my mandala sheet designs and make a few cards from them. They turned our super cute so I thought I would show them off. I didn't do any fancy techniques here. I cut printed out the sheets, cut them out with scissors and trimmer then glued them together so anyone can make these.

This first card was made with my Autumn Colours Mandala sheet HERE. I used a dark tan card base and matted the mandala paper with dark red paper that had these tiny foil pieces in it which you can really notice in the Father's Day sentiment topper. I edged the paper and the stacked mandala parts with gold ink and added a goil braid trim.

This next card was made using my Blue Green Plaid sheet HERE. Here's a white square card with white and blue card matting with the blue plaid paper. The mandala stackers and congrats topper are on 3d foam for a raised effect. Just added a couple of ribbon knots as well.

Last but not least is this card made with my Dark Blue Star sheet HERE. Again really easy....I used the dark blue star paper on the bottom and some leather textured grey blue paper on the top of a white card base. I added the gingham ribbon across the card. I mixed a couple of silk flowers in with the mandala stackers..all raised on 3d foam pads...so is the little mandala and sentiment.

Printable Freebie - Pyramage

Hi everyone.

Hope this post find you well this fine rainy UK day...lol. I spent today backing up files and cleaning up my computer a bit. I got the itch to make something so I whipped up a pyrmage sheet printable. I hope you enjoy this free printable....it includes a pyramid topper sheet and a backing paper wth two different designs on it. Inside the zip is JPG sheets and a 2 page PDF. I've also made them in both A4 and US letter size for those in the USA. I'ts free for a limited time so get it ASAP.

These images are also know as Stackables or Pyramage. Just print out the sheet, cut out the parts (which I've numbered so you know what order they go in,) and use 3d foam pads or silicon glue to raise up each piece on top of the other. Scruffy Bunny Cards

My daughter and I had a colouring session and I made a few cards from our results. We used the Scruffy Easter Bunny Digital Stamp set. They sure turned our cute...hope you think so too!

This first card is the egg from the set. My daughter coloured the egg with my Copics...we both are learning how to use them though...lol. I made the card. I used a back card base them layered blue and black cardstock with with orange and pink glitter fibre paper that I got in a stack at Hobbycraft. I added the blue card around the egg as well. I printed out the sentiment myself.

My daughter also coloured in this Scruffy Bunny with my Copics. I made the card with a mettalic brown base card. The tan card layers is cool. It's very thick fabric feeling card and all wrinkly with tiny sparkles in it which you can't really see in the photo. I didn't have any matching pink cardstock so I trimmed a bit of white card with a fancy edge and used the pink Copic over the edges. The ribbon matched exactly though..which I got at my local market. There is a haberdashery stall and she has a big basket of ribbons and trims all 3 bunches for £1.00. Each bunch is between 4-5 metres! I have tons of this lovely pink satin ribbon left for future projects.

Last one I primise...lol. I printed out the Scruffy bunny and 3 of the eggs which I resized lots smaller. This is a nice big card. My mate Julie bought me some card stock for Christmas and some of it was glittery. I used the pretty pink one cut to A4 size which is folded in half. The plaid paper is from a KC&Co paster paper stack I bought 2 years ago. The yellow & pink papers are a Mulberry type paper again from my stash. All stamps are coloured in by me with my new Copics...still going through lots of You Tube vids to learn how to use them better. I printed the sentiment topper. Green dotted ribbon from Hobbycraft.

Since I got my Copic pens I've been really getting into digital stamps. Last weekend hubby and I got a bit of a windfall that saw me receive £100 cash in my little hands so what did I do with it? Save it? Put in under my mattress? Give it to a charity?

I did what any self respecting crafter would do. I spent it on a new piece of kit of course. I bought myself a set of 36 Copic Ciao markers! Those of you who know what these are, are congratulating me...lol. You also know how expensive these are. They run around £5.00($5.00) per pen. I got a set of 36 for just over £76.oo AND it included VAT (what a good deal!) I bought colour set A and I ordered them Wednesday night and I recieved them at 3:00 this afternoon (Friday.) How awesome was that!

I got them from a UK art site called Artifolk.co.uk and they carry all the Copic range plus in the sets of 36 they have all the colour sets: A, B, C and D. Plus the skin set as well. I'm off to design a new digital stamp so I can use my new Copics tonight! WOO HOO!

ANNND...I even have change from my 100 quid to get a new portable paper trimmer....lol. I'm so naughty. :)

New Digital Stamps & a FREEBIE!

Things have been in a state of change around here...for the better...lol. I've really been in the designing mood lately and I am excited about adding new products to my new shop. I know I haven't posted much lately...hoopefully now with new products coming out I'll have a lot more to say...lol. Firstly let me start with a bit of shameless promotion here. I've created some digital stamps....if you don't know what these are, these are basically line art drawings that you print off and then can colour in with pencils or Copic markers. Then you can put them on crads, crafts, scrapbook pages, ATCs, etc.
